Long-Time Spa Manager Becomes Majority Owner

Brad and Melani Drummer, Co-Owners

Nusta Spa, Washington DC’s top day spa for results-orientated natural skincare, announced today that it will operate under a new majority ownership effective January 1, 2018.

Brad Drummer, Nusta’s managing partner since 2010, has partnered with his wife, Melani Drummer, to take full ownership of the spa. Brad brings over 14 years of spa industry experience to his new role, as well as 26 years of experience as a massage therapist.

“Nusta has been my second home for 14 years, first as a master massage therapist and later as the spa manager,” said Drummer. “That said, I couldn’t be more excited about taking on this new role as owner along with my wife, Melani. Together, we look forward to continuing Nusta’s legacy as DC’s top luxury day spa with a focus on the environment and nature-based skin care products.”

While Nusta is now under new ownership, the spa’s commitment to sustainable design and eco-friendly practices continues. As the nation’s very first Gold LEED certified day spa for commercial interiors, the Drummers are committed to maintaining the planted-centric mission with green practices and a full line of natural skin care products.

“Our intention is to weave sustainability into every aspect of our operations, added Drummer. “From recycling programs to the energy efficient lightening in all treatment rooms, we want to conserve whenever possible so that we can care for the environment alongside our clients.”

To ensure clients are always cared for, Brad and Melani welcome comments, feedback and suggestions. They can be reached via email or by calling the Spa Desk at 202.530.5700.
