ACUPUNCTURE TIPS FOR A HEALTHY FALL

Fall is in the air. As we transition from the hot and steamy days of summer ruled by the
energetic Fire element in Traditional Chinese Medicine into the cooler, more contemplative
Metal phase, our bodies go through a subtle shift of energy as well.
Every time a shift happens in nature, it is an opportunity for new beginnings, a sense of renewal,
and a call to tune in with our inner rhythms. While Summer is all about activity and outward
expression of energy, Fall is preparing us to turn inward.

The Metal element in Chinese Medicine is associated with Fall. The organ system linked to
Metal are the Lungs, the tissue associated with it is the skin. The transitional time between Late
Summer into Fall is the perfect time to pay a little extra attention to these precious organs.
If you are prone to dry skin, allergies, frequent colds, or exacerbation of asthma during the Fall
months, come in for a couple of acupuncture sessions focusing on the Lung meridian and
strengthening the immune system. If you feel a little low energy and sadness overcoming you
during this time period, acupuncture can help you feel more supported.

For the ultimate tune-up, combine your acupuncture session with a custom massage or facial
with our new and popular Synergy services to feel fully pampered and rejuvenated inside and
out.
Looking forward to seeing you soon,
